What This Story Means To Me:
It would be wrong to say this story came from one heartbreak. It came from many. But it also came from falling in love with those same people. It built over time. The things we say and do. The things we wish we had said or done. And I think most of us carry some regret, that we are not the version of the person we wished we were. This story is hard to explain without getting too personal. So I’ll leave it at that…
I can’t sing or write songs, but I’d say this is my equivalent. I wasn’t able to write a love song, so I wrote a love story.
